The SBP1 shear beam provides superb quality and performance at a competitive price. Compact size and easy mounting reduce installation costs in low profile and platform systems. Each beam is constructed from super-strength alloy steel, and nickel-plated to provide high accuracy with high adverse loading capabilities. This resistance to side loads reduces the need for flexures while increasing the beam’s fatigue life cycle.

Potted construction and nickel plating give superior protection in harsh, washdown areas. Proper installation with a Thermo BLH instrument easily meets NIST Handbook H-44 requirements. An NTEP Conformance Certificate for Class III 3000 div (single), 5000 div (multiple) and Class IIIL 5000 div (single), 10000 div (multiple) has been obtained by BLH.
 

OIML conformance for accuracy class C, 3000 n (intervals) applies to all capacities.
 

SBP1 beams mount on any flat, rigid structure with two thru bolts. Forces may be applied by attachment to the threaded hole for scale installation, tensile test, or other direct measurement in hopper, tank, or bin weigh systems.
