Chuck plays an important role in the cutting process. Complete clamping of the workpiece is an important condition for precision machining, high-speed machining, heavy cutting, etc. Until now, however, it has been unclear how much force the chuck uses to tighten the workpiece, and whether the chuck can reliably maintain the fastening force even when rotating at high speeds.
The chuck clamping force converter (hereinafter referred to as the device) is developed for measuring the chuck fastening force in combination with external indicators.
The device can also measure the fluctuations of the chuck tightening force at rest and the chuck tightening force at rotation. * This model can only be used with a three-jaw chuck.
