Printed circuit board mounted pressure sensor
Printed circuit board mounted pressure sensors are generally small, economical, and designed to be mounted on printed circuit boards and integrated into other products.
Universal sensor
General-purpose pressure sensors are the most common because they are designed for the widest range of applications.
Heavy duty/industrial pressure sensors
Heavy duty/industrial pressure sensors have a more robust housing than other sensors. They are designed for heavy industrial environments and often feature expandable 4-20mA outputs that are better protected from the electrical noise commonly found in industrial environments.
High stability/high precision pressure sensor
Most pressure sensors have full range accuracy of 0.25% or higher. Depending on the model, the error of the highly stable and high-precision pressure sensor can be as low as 0.05% of the full range. While more expensive than general-purpose sensors, they may be the only option in applications where high accuracy is required.
Flat film pressure sensor
In a flat-film pressure sensor, the diaphragm is flush to the process. This eliminates pressure extraction holes in the diaphragm and prevents the fluid medium from clogging it. This blockage can be highly undesirable in some applications. Such as monitoring the pressure of high-viscosity foods or liquids.
Special purpose sensor
OMEGA offers a wide range of pressure sensors with special functions, including pressure measurements designed for extremely high or very low temperatures, submersible pressure sensors, barometric pressure sensors and pressure sensors with digital communication outputs or wireless outputs.
